Boon Kai - Walled Lake

One of our sons loves the almond chicken. The portion is beyond large. My husband loves their curry chicken half the onions and extra mushrooms) My favorite is their Kung Bo Chicken. Their fried rice is delicious. It’s a little family owned and operated. We’ve been going there for over 20 years. Nothing fancy but good and simple always freshly made to order.

They have the Best Asian food in the area for sure. Many Asian cuisines around but Boon Kai beats em all hands down! Neil at the front door is so friendly and personable. They also have the drive up pick up only now which is really amazing since most places seemed to stop to offer it any longer. 10/10 would recommend.

TOWN. I love this restaurant so much that even after moving, I'm willing to drive an additional 45 miles just to have dinner there.

I’ve been visiting this fantastic restaurant for years! The staff is incredibly friendly, and the food is excellent. After reading the review below, I felt compelled to share my own experiences. It’s truly unfortunate that some individuals resort to dishonesty to tarnish the reputation of well-established local businesses that are essential to our vibrant community. I'm surprised that someone would choose to dine at a restaurant they claim has multiple reports of being unfit. This says a lot about their judgment and intellect. This has been a fantastic restaurant since the early 1990s. They’ve stuck to their original recipes unlike many other places, and their prices have remained fairly stable. Portion sizes are always generous. We plan to keep dining here for many years to come. The service is consistently excellent, and when the interior was open, it was always clean and welcoming. I can't wait for them to reopen inside!
