Ice Monster - Walnut Creek

The prices are reasonable, though higher than what you’d find at Starbucks. The food is decent, but it feels like some items might be microwaved rather than freshly made. However, the shaved ice cream is delicious! Most of the drinks come from heavy syrups, including the smoothies, which I’m not fond of. I’m not a fan of the suggested tipping area on their receipts either, but I still think the restaurant is worth a visit. Just a heads up: be careful when parking. Please avoid using the accessible spots if you don’t have a handicap permit, as I witnessed someone park there just to grab bubble tea, blocking others who genuinely needed the space. I had to help a family with a wheelchair maneuver out of a tight spot because of this inconsiderate parking.

The restaurant offers a great atmosphere with good music, quick and friendly service, and delightfully cool Shaved Snow that isn't overly sweet. Perfectly balanced for the palate! I tried the matcha with marshmallows and peanut M, and it was fantastic. Highly recommend!

Ice Monster offers generous portions of smoothies, ice slushes, and bubble tea. But they don’t just stop at drinks; we also love their basil popcorn chicken, fried dumplings, and steamed pig buns!

I had the vanilla blueberry waffle with an icy matcha latte. Both were very good! Standing outside seats that were beautiful on a beautiful day like today. My only complaint was that the staff would go to the back kitchen, customers would join together and no one was regularly reviewing the front so that to form an unnecessary line. I was always taught that no one should get into a store and not be welcomed immediately. I think that's a problem everywhere, not just here. And some employees weren't excited to be there. It won't stop me. It has delicious treats and it is really close to my work!

Stopped by for shaved ice and ended up ordering a French toast with ice cream. Great choice and ordered smoothie as well.
