It was incredibly comfortable and spacious, and the sheets were remarkably soft – I really wish I could find out where to buy them for my own bed! During check-in, we received two breakfast tickets for the following morning. When we arrived at the dining area, we had the option to use the tickets for an all-you-can-eat buffet or to order from the menu up to a value of $25. The breakfast offerings were decent and fairly standard for a hotel, including eggs, sausage, bread, oatmeal, pancakes, cereal, fruit, yogurt, and orange juice. Overall, it was a nice stay with some room for improvement.
My room was simple and clean, though it didn't offer much of a view, especially as a Hilton Honors member. Perhaps there were guests with higher status occupying the better rooms. However, the super soft pillows and comfortable bed made for a pleasant stay. There is one restaurant in the lobby that offers a good variety of food. I opted for takeout, and everything was hot and delicious. A standout feature of the hotel is the concierge robot. I had the chance to see it in action (yes, I followed it). When a guest requested some toiletries, instead of a staff member delivering them, the robot was sent. It was filled with the items, and after pressing a few buttons, it set off on its journey. I watched as it waited for the elevator, rode up, and then delivered the toiletries to the guest. It was fascinating! I definitely want one of those at home!
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Westin Hotel, and I must say, I was truly impressed. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the dedication to cleanliness was remarkable. I even used their robot service to have some toiletries delivered to my room, which was a fun touch. The hotel features a wonderful selection of delicious meals at its on-site restaurants, including Relish Bistro, which offers an excellent breakfast buffet. I highly recommend staying here for a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
I've come to expect fairly decent quality from the Westin brand so I was super nervous to book this place based on the really bad reviews on Yelp. I ended up very pleased with my experience. The room was super clean though a little cramped with the amount of furniture they had in it. I would have removed at least one of the chairs by the window to make more room but otherwise a very solid clean room is what I got. The facility is really nice, looked clean and the on site restaurant was a neat feature though I didn't visit the restaurant. Parking was at a cost but I should have taken my chances paying whatever the parking prices were because hotel charged me for parking yet when I left the parking lot there was no barrier to stop me from leaving hence no payment seemed to be required. I feel a bit ripped off paying for parking when I could have probably parked for free. Not a bad hotel at all and within a good proximity to the general Boston area if you don't want to pay the $500/night in the heart of Boston.
I grew up coming to this hotel. It was my favorite hotel on the east coast. I recently stayed there again for the first time in years and I was so so disappointed. Mind you I 'm easy as Sunday morning. The bathroom in our room didn 't have any body wash, and our blankets had a massive blood stain on it that we saw the next morning. Sickening. The staff said that looks fresh as if I left it there. I think I 'd know if I was bleeding out on my hotel bed. I mean see the photos. Really stinks that this place took a turn for the worst. You 're better off going somewhere else. Hate to say it, but really.
