Bonners Fish - Waltham Forest

This is the best take away fish and chip shop in the area by a country mile. The portions are satisfying, the quality of the fish, lovely crispy batter and tasty, non greasy chips, all served by a friendly owner and his staff.

Been coming here since I was a very small girl living in Walthamstow. I have now moved further out and still use this chippy as it’s the best around!!

Massive shout out to the wonderful chaps who run Bonners. I have been a loyal customer for 9 years and they keep consistently delivering the finest, crispy, freshly made fish chips. A Walthamstow institution well done!

I reckon I've had fish and chips from Bonners more than 100 times over the years, but have never thought to write a review before. Anyway, I got a family fish and chips order as per usual last Thursday (1 large cod, 1 battered sausage, 1 large chips, 1 regular chips: which easily feeds 4 with no leftovers). The fish was amazingly fresh, the chips delicious, and the sausage crispy (the kids love that). Oh, and a curry sauce! It really has to be the best takeaway in Walthamstow: never, ever change!

Hands down best fish and chips in Walthamstow. Quick, friendly staff. Generous portions. Highly recommend. Much better than other pricey places nearby.
