Stopped here on our NZ road trip as had been recommended by a Wanaka local. The cheese scones and coffee did not disappoint. Service excellent. Enjoyed a chat with a fellow Scot working at the diner.
Awesome food and service. our waiter was very lovely and sorted our extra wishes as well.

I love the coffee at Federal. The barista knows his stuff. The foods always good but the best thing, the staff are always so welcoming.
