Ashraf's - Wanaka

Love this small family restaurant great food (best Indian in Wanaka by far) and excellent <br/ friendly service by owner/family. And it's quiet enough to talk!<br/ The review guidelines ask me to write more but what more could you want?<br/

We tried ashrafs for takeaway during our stay in wanaka. We also tried the spice room from a local recommendation. We are huge indian food fans and have tried alot of the best indian restaurants in christchurch. Ashrafs stands out as not only the best indian restaurant in wanaka, but possibly better than all the others we have ever tried. In our opinion ashrafs is the south islands best kept secret. Not rating 5 stars because we did not eat in.

Absolutely delicious, what a treat!! Everything is made so well here and the service is incredible! Love!!

We ordered butter chicken, beef vindaloo and the garlic naan. All tasted amazing! Probably the best Indian we have had in a long time. If busy, worth the wait.

We had a great meal here while in Wanaka it was incredible to get such authentic Indian cuisine while on the South Island in New Zealand at this family owned restaurant. Our server was very kind and helpful and, of course, the food was amazing! We recommend the vindaloo, korma and the naan!
