Firebird - Wanaka

The Portobello burger at this restaurant is incredibly tasty and moist, with a spicy batter coating and deep frying that adds extra flavor. The burger itself is not overly fancy, but the $18 burger deal (burger, fries, sauce) is a great value for a generous portion size.

I recently picked up dinner from this restaurant and was very satisfied with my experience. The price per person was between NZ$10-20, which I found to be very reasonable. The food was amazing, I would rate it a 5 out of 5. The service was good but could be improved, I would give it a 3 out of 5. The atmosphere of the restaurant was excellent, I would rate it a 5 out of 5.

We tried fried chicken with medium hot and the spicy fries. Fried chicken is so tasty and juicy, and the quantity of fries is fair. This is my second time visiting this restaurant and it was even better than the first time. The burger I had was the best I've ever tried. The chicken was cooked perfectly with delicious sauce. The staff appeared hardworking. I had read some negative comments about Sam before visiting, but I completely disagree with them. Overall, I rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a 5 out of 5.
