Írjon visszajelzéstCafe Narana is always a fantastic choice for a fun family outing. This restaurant adds a unique twist to the dining experience with Bush Tucker-inspired cuisine and delectable dishes made from fresh ingredients. Their milkshakes are also a hit! We sampled the corn fritters and the slow-cooked kangaroo ragu wrap, while the kids enjoyed a ham and cheese toastie and pancakes - everything was absolutely delicious!
The food at this restaurant is delicious and offers a unique twist compared to typical cafe fare. The Johnny cakes, a bush damper cooked on a griddle, have a nice crispy exterior and are amazing. The slow cooked kangaroo was a favorite dish of mine, and the homemade dips are also fantastic. However, be prepared to be very patient as the restaurant is often understaffed. Service may be slow and tables may not be cleared promptly. Take advantage of the opportunity to go on a bush walk, feed emus and wallabies, and shop for souvenirs at the on-site store.
I had the pleasure of spending half a day at the Narana Cultural Centre today with my colleagues. We started by exploring the gift shop, which was filled with stunning art, fragrances, and books. Despite the autumn weather, we ventured outside to see the emus, wallabies, and kangaroo, all of which were delightful. Our guide, Mel, was incredibly knowledgeable and made our experience special. The art gallery was amazing, and we all admired the talent of the artists. We had lunch at Cafe Narana, where I enjoyed delicious corn fritters and generous portion sizes. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming. Please be respectful of certain areas where photography is not allowed. The center is disabled-friendly with on-site toilets and ample parking. Cafe Narana offers great snacks and meals, and entry is free. Don't miss the gift shop and be sure to take in the wonderful fragrances throughout Narana. Meeting Uncle Vince was a bonus - he is truly an amazing man. Mel, thank you for your time and for making our visit to Narana so special. You are a true asset to this little piece of paradise.
Beautiful place, the wild life that lived within the ecosystem to the food. The vendor as you leave has amazing native ingredients and indigenous artefacts! With a beautiful native garden starring many you can use in cooking. Will be back
Our complete experience with a group of 10 at Narana was outstanding. The cafe was lovely and the BBQ and bush tucker was Brilliant. Humey's (Anthony's) talk was a highlight and I learned a lot about Aboriginal Culture from many areas as did others in the group. The surrounds are very peaceful and I would go back any time.
