The Hill Winery - Wandana Heights

Perched atop a hill with stunning views of the vineyard, I wish I had been able to enjoy the scenery while dining at this restaurant. Despite the establishment having two rooms on either side of the entrance, the main dining area is located in a dimly lit distillery shed, which seemed odd. However, the meal itself was delicious, with an incredible combination of flavors. The service was lacking, as the staff seemed inexperienced and it took up to thirty minutes for our drinks and food orders to be taken. It would be beneficial for the restaurant to assign wait staff to specific tables to improve efficiency. Despite these shortcomings, I would be willing to return as I thoroughly enjoyed the menu and wine selection.

The restaurant has a stunning venue and the staff are very friendly. The meals are reasonably priced, although I found the chicken dish to be a bit dry. Overall, the experience was great and I look forward to coming back again.

We had our dream wedding at Mt Duneed over the weekend and we couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment we first met Christine, we knew this was the perfect venue for us. Despite the challenges of planning a wedding during Covid, the Mt Duneed team was exceptional and accommodating throughout the entire process. The venue itself is stunning, the food was delicious, and the olive grove and barrel hall provided the perfect backdrop for our celebration. A special thank you to Keeley, our amazing event manager, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. We were lucky enough to host our wedding at Mt Duneed last December. From the moment we booked, down to the very last minute, all staff at Mt Duneed (special mention to Christine, Bec and Keeley) were amazing! Emails and phone calls were so pleasant and helpful, even when I was unsure of why I had called (sorry! Haha). All our guests have told us how much they loved the food and how stunning the venue is, and we 100% agree. Thank you for being so flexible and understanding through navigating the unknowns of Covid. I am beyond happy with the final result of our wedding and cannot wait to come back and visit!
