Mimmo's Eatalian Woodfired Cafe

Went on Friday night with friends. None of us enjoyed our meal. Basic pasta and sauce with limited other ingredients to differentiate between items on menu. Have been there on other occasions about 18 months ago and enjoyed it but not last week. Very over-priced for what we received.

Spur of the moment decision to try this café... Great experience.. Food was yummo... Service ( think mumma waited on us ) was awesome.. took time out to talk to us... Beware of mosquitos tho... be prepared...take spray...

We had seafood fettuccine, today vegetable and seafood pizza. The young girl who served us was lovely but the older lady was hard to get a smile out of and her general demeanor made me feel unwelcome. The food was fresh and smelly amazing but it was missing something that I can't put my finger on. I think maybe it needed more garlic or onion or herbs or something. Might try a different pizza next time as I think it might be worth giving it another go.

We spent $50 on 2 pizzas and 1 ravioli dish (take away), it was so disgusting, we threw it away and had to go elsewhere for a meal, the kids wouldn't even eat the ham and pineapple pizza!! Ravioli tasted EXACTLY like the coles brought ravioli, and the pizzas, if you want to eat stale cardboard like dough with tasteless toppings, this is the place for you then! Unlike other reviews on here, we actually called and advised management about the quality of their meals. Save your money and go elsewhere, maybe even the frozen pizza section at woolies or coles will be more value for money.

Don't think we'll be going again. Ordered 2 takeaway meals (alforno - $18.50 Bellini - $19.50 which comes to $38). Also asked for some roast pumpkin in both meals expecting it to be $2-$4 extra each but when I got there I had to pay $10 extra all up so it came to $48... just for 5 little cubes of pumpkin. The alforno was watery and the meatballs were tiny (luckily this dish was for my 2 year old). The Bellini is really nice but paying $5 each dish for a bit of pumpkin is ridiculous.
