Cizzlin - Warkworth

Staff at counter was friendly and the space was clean. Like an upmarket takeaway joint. I give it a 5/5 for the beef cheese steak alone but the rest brought it down a bit the cheese steak is a delicious and comforting meal of a very soft white baguette with sliced, quick fried beef, mushrooms and onions topped with cheese you choose your sauces I recommend sweet chilli and aioli). I didn't like the popcorn chicken $8.90) as it tasted like the oil wasn't hot enough when they fried, leaving it a bit soggy oily. It was also expensive for size. The wedges with cheese and bacon were decent, though the bacon was more like ham, and the portion was not generous at all. Maybe one potato for $6.50. Overall I say, go get a cheese steak! Have hardly ever seen this kind of thing around Auckland.

A gem in Warkworth.The staff were nice.I had cheesesteak beef. It was good and appetizing.I havent tried the noodles though.Ambience is good, the place looks as if customers just eat and go.4.0 rating as the variety of food is very limited. Not much choices.

Came to Warkworth from West Auckland just to have lunch at Bam Boo and WOW!! what a great move! First of all, loving the decor! Service was top knotch! Our server knew about each dish we asked about! Drinks arrived fast, and food followed not too far behind. We started with duck pancakes...delicious! Then came the pork belly, prawns squid. Seriously, it all was full of flavour combo's that were banging!! If I had to choose, prawns were my favourite! We were second table to arrive at 12pm, we got a window seat looking out to the board walk river. There is a carpark right outside. I highly recommend Bam Boo! Thank you!

Taste sensation; lovely range of delicious dishes; interesting decor that reflects the menu; peaceful water and bush views; awesome, attentive and friendly staff. Portions and wine servings were generous. Definitely our new favourite restaurant! Would recommend to those who enjoy authentic flavours and as in some dishes, a bit of heat. Desserts, which weren't your stock standard, were thoughtful and delicious too.

Bam Boo is such a neat little place. This is my first time here and it was a vibe. The food was great, the ambience is great. I love the decorations and attention to detail. I'd definitely come back here for dinner and a few drinks.
