Church's Texas Chicken - Warr Acres

Staff was friendly, but the Chicken is just not the same. We used to be Church's Chicken fans back in the day, but the chicken this time around was dry, too greasy (like swimming in oil greasy), had no flavor or seasoning, and the batter was made with too much flour (so the skin was just very doughy). The staff were very friendly and nice, it's just the chicken wasn't, especially on our stomachs...

It's been a while since I've eaten Church's ChickenI don't know if it's going down hill or if they just had an off night.

In anticipation of some fried chiken as an alternative to KFC, we went to Church's on Northwest Expressway for a "Take Out" order.

I could eat here once in a blue moon, but I'm going by this place every day to work and I honestly can't understand how this place has remained open for the last decades. I rarely see how customer cars come and from this place the food quality is okay, I think. it is what they expect from a chicken stable of the church with almost zero business they eat here on their own risk.
