Taj Palace Indian Cuisine - Warrenton

I had a great experience here! I came on Friday afternoon, so it wasn't too busy. We ordered butter chicken, palate provider and 3 commands naan. It was all so good, and I was also in a variety of Indian restaurants. All in all, if I ever come back that way, I will definitely be over!

2 stars just because of the appetizers- Very disappointed. I was excited to go to the first Indian restaurant in Warrenton. the appetizers were great. I was excited for the food to arrive. The portions were the smallest and even the rice was in small copper bowls. My food was horrible. It was the lamb and the sauce it was cooked in might as well have been ketchup. NO spice. I tried my wife's and others at the table and was really shocked that there was no spice whatsoever in any of the foods. We asked for medium spice. I LOVE Indian food and it is my favorite. Fifteen minutes after i left, i was STARVING! I have never left an indian restaurant starving!!

This place is so good and the staff is wonderful. They let me order butter cauliflower which isn't even on the menu bc I don't eat meat but love the butter chicken sauce. Things I have enjoyed: vegetable samosa, Cauliflower manchurian (do yourself a favor if you've never had it and order this), vegetable pakora, tadka daal, malai kofta, and any of the breads.

Excellent food and service. Everything was delicious and well served.

We have been for dinner; both when it was super busy and when it was slow. Absolutely spectacular! The butter chicken, Himalayan chicken and the tandoori are out of this world. Even thr kids love it. A+
