Bagels Etc - Washington

The best bagels in DC! I highly recommend them. I always go for the egg bagel with cream cheese, and it never fails to put me in a better mood after I finish. 10/10!

Finding a cheap eat in DC is no easy thing. I love a good breakfast bagel but dislike some bagel shop prices. Bagels Etc though is an exception to the expensive DC food. Got two bagels, one with egg cheese and meat and the other with cream cheese, for a total under 10 dollars. Both were very good! Had a good amount of egg to bacon ratio and the bagels are really delicious. Bagels are a decent size too- if you're STARVING you may need to order more than one but for a midday meal this hit the spot. It can get busy but bagels still come out pretty fast and the lady working at the register was super nice. IMPORTANT: this is cash only.

CASH ONLY. Small shop with a bunch of Korean aunties who make great bagels. We got ourselves a dozen bagels (everything, egg and blueberry) and an everything bagel with chive cream cheese. The bagel was a little on the smaller side but it was great. The everything bagel has more sesame than your average everything bagel. Solid bagel and better than call your mother. ATM inside. Two tables inside and a few outside, but limited seating. Service was good and fast. Weekends can get busy.

The bagels here are excellent—freshly made throughout the morning, and the service is quick. Make sure to bring cash since they don’t accept cards. I often forget, but the ATM fee is worth it! DC has plenty of overrated bagel places, and since Bethesda Bagels closed, this is the only truly authentic spot for bagels that isn’t overhyped.

Absolutely awful bagels, you would be better off going to call your mother nearby. They are weirdly doughy and squishy and get mushed into weird shapes when cut.
