Írjon visszajelzéstMy official Memorial Day celebrations kicked off with dinner at this surf-themed restaurant. It was our second visit, and the food and service were absolutely top-notch. The kitchen really knows what it’s doing—kudos to the chef and the team! Our server, Tucker, was exceptional—professional, polite, and absolutely flawless. If I were in this industry, I would hire him in a heartbeat. The frozen spicy margarita was fantastic; hats off to the bartender! For our appetizer, we had the pork al pastor Island Nachos, which were delightful. For our main courses, we enjoyed the Cayman Islands Enchiladas and the Rock House Bowl, both expertly prepared and served piping hot. What a perfect evening! Wishing everyone a happy Memorial Day!
I had some fantastic pork belly sliders and fries! The Tahiti salad was tasty, but there were way too many bean sprouts, which overshadowed the other flavors. Each bite was dominated by the bean sprouts, which was disappointing because the dressing and mango add great flavor. I ended up pushing the sprouts off to the side of my plate. My suggestion is to request no bean sprouts on the salad to fully enjoy it.
The food and drinks here are fantastic! They offer a variety of options that bring the flavors of the Caribbean to tacos, burritos, and bowls. While some of the staff were friendly, a few seemed uncertain when serving us, which was a bit uncomfortable. Despite this awkwardness, we enjoyed our time there. Everything we tried was delicious, and we appreciated our waiter’s recommendations. I would definitely consider visiting again, especially since I had a completely different experience at the DuPont location. I hope to see improvement in staff interactions during my next visit.
The food and drinks are always really good here. For drinks we had the spicy margarita, blood orange crush and the surfsider. All were awesome. We had the chicken fajitas and nachos, and in the past I have enjoyed the pork belly sliders. What I love most about this place is that no matter where you sit, it feels like you’re outside. In the summer they can open basically all the walls of the restaurant to create the open air feeling. I’m surprised it’s not more busy, because there are very few places like it but we never have a problem getting seats.
We love Surfside! It was ALWAYS our first night's stop when we would visit DC and usually our last nights too. Today, we finally moved to DC and wouldn't have thought of anything else to celebrate with. The Cozumel is insane and the Port Antonio was a new one for us from Surfside, but we will for sure get it again. Amazing! Try the Horchata, it's very tasty.
