Alhambra - Washington DC

This hotel bar is fantastic, especially during the holiday season with its charming Christmas atmosphere. I really enjoyed my old fashioned, and there was a wonderful lounge singer performing when we visited, which added to the experience. The decorations were delightful as well. It's definitely a must-visit spot on the hotel bar circuit.

The bar had a stunning aesthetic, effortlessly combining luxury with a welcoming vibe. The ambiance was cozy and intimate, making it an ideal spot for drinks before or after dinner. The calming background music added to the overall experience without being intrusive. Our attentive bartender, Jane, offered exceptional and friendly service, making sure all our needs were taken care of. And the cocktails? They were absolutely delightful.

It was the quickest visit we've ever had! We decided to drop in because we were told there was an hour wait at another place. We ordered our drinks, and just as we were enjoying them, we received a text that our table was ready at the first restaurant. We quickly finished our drinks and headed out. The bartender was very attentive and noticed something was off, so she asked us about it. We explained the situation, and she promptly closed our tab. In the brief 7 or 8 minutes we spent there, we learned enough to know we definitely want to come back.

Always a great time, but when it’s decorated for the holidays it’s magical

This is my favorite hotel and the bar in DC. The second oldest St Regis hotel in the world after the one in NY. Beautiful architecture and elegance! Helpful and attentive staff especially at the bar/restaurant. The bar attendant Tessa is super nice and attentive. Every interaction with her is just a pleasure. Oksanna, the restaurant host is always helpful ready to accommodate your requests.
