Ana At District Winery - Washington DC

I've been so excited for this to open and I am happy to say the dining experience definitely lived up to my expectations. Luckily there were several of us so we could try almost everything on the menu. The flavor combinations were so unique and creative, it's like dining all around the world in one meal. There were so many layers of flavor in every dish I tried. The chef seems to excel at pulling ingredients from different cuisines together and creating some sort of umami magic. The muhammara spread is a perfect example! The crab beignets are so fun and delicious that you keep wanting more. We all wanted to lick our plates clean of the pineapple sauce on the grilled octopus dish. The pierogis and pig shoulder confit were also so unique and delicious that we were fighting over the last bites. My favorite entree was the corn and Grayson cappelletti it's the kind of dish that no matter how full you are, you can't stop eating. The carrot mustard sauce with the monkfish was amazing. My favorite desserts were the corn crémeux and hummingbird cake. We had a bottle of their Brooklyn Cab and most of the cocktails. The Figment and Apology cocktails were my favorites. I have to say I'm pretty impressed with how well everything went even though it's the first week and I can't wait to go again!!!

I’ve had the pleasure to be a vendor at this Winery. I do hair and makeup all over the DMV and this is one of my all time favorite places! Food is the bomb, there’s a bar downstairs, it’s on the water, a warmed up patio, great family style dining area, soft lighting...and lots of wine: awesome place to host a party or wedding!!

Just amazing. Try the crab beignets. You may want a double order. The space is just gorgeous and full of light. The wine display takes your breath away...and the wine itself....I've only had a few. Can totally vouch for 211, the Pinot Noir. Just delicious. I cannot wait to go back.

Fantastic way to spend a Saturday! The wine is more than worth the trip and Steve is a fantastic Wine Expert He had a tough crowd and was more than cool under pressure! I will be back FO SHO.

Every time we go to Ana at District Winery, we are wowed by the food and the service. The wait staff is very knowledgeable and seem to sincerely want you to have a great experience.
