Cafe Mediterranean - Washington DC

If you're in town, and staying downtown this will be your go-to spot! They have a wide-variety to choose from. Lamb and chicken #7 is my choice! But all the food is great; I usually substitute the salad with chic peas. This is a 5 star location!!

This is a hidden gem in the neighborhood. I ate here on several occasions, with excellent food for a very reasonable price. You can have dinner in the restaurant as well as to-go. I tried the lamb,beef, and chicken kabobs, all were well seasoned and plentiful. The kabobs are served with rice, salad, and bread and make for a very satisfying meal. I was staying at a nearby hotel and so happy that this dining option was nearby. Go try it out and I am sure you will be pleased.

The lamb platter was excellent and came with a lot of food. Service was good and the food came out relatively quick and hot. Definitely will eat here again

My wife and I visited VFS India for our visa appointment, and we decided to grab lunch at this restaurant. We’re so glad we chose this place! The atmosphere is clean and inviting, creating a warm vibe. The staff were friendly, professional, and welcoming. We ordered one chicken platter, which was both flavorful and delicious, and the portion was so generous that we couldn’t finish it between the two of us. The prices were very reasonable, especially for Washington, D.C. I highly recommend this restaurant and thank them for providing us with such a pleasant experience. We will definitely stop by again on our next trip to D.C.!

I was genuinely impressed! I'm usually very critical when it comes to kabobs, but the quality of the food and the price here are exceptional. You can tell that no shortcuts were taken. Just look at the picture; it speaks for itself! They always use fresh vegetables, and the sauces are spot on. I had the chicken and beef, and I know I'll be coming back for more!
