Golden China - Washington DC

I like this restaurant! They give high class food, their menu is varied, The chief cook in that spot is a real pro, I enjoy a lot eating all their food. The dishes are consistently of high qualtity, the attitude towards the visitors is efficient. I often eat in this place and I not even once was disappointed. I recommend it to all.

Food is great but they do close at 10:30pm not 11pm. You also must try the vegetable dumplings. I first tried the dumplings in NY at a catered NBA game. Took me 8 months to finally find them again. All smiles.

I also ordered chicken wings, but to my dismay, there were no napkins in the bag. When I called the restaurant to address this issue, the woman on the phone told me, “They don’t include napkins with delivery.” I couldn't believe it! Then she had the audacity to suggest that I should have napkins at home. I might be overreacting, but it's the principle of the matter. I think I’ll keep Golden China as a last resort from now on!

I've been visiting this place for as long as I can remember! I moved to DC when I was 2 years old, and now at 16, it's still one of my favorite spots! The owners are incredibly kind, and the food is fantastic! I absolutely love it here and would highly recommend their dishes to anyone!

I've been dining at this restaurant for 5 to 8 years, and I've only had one bad experience with an order, which they promptly corrected and even provided extra food. The staff is fantastic with customers, and the food is consistently fresh and prepared promptly. If you find yourself uptown, it's definitely worth a 5 to 10-minute trip to grab a sub or some wings. Their mambo sauce is delicious compared to other carry-out places. The young lady at the counter speaks English very well and is a pleasure to talk to. Prices are typical for a city carry-out, but the quality of the food makes it worth it. Whenever I'm uptown, this is the only carry-out I choose since Eddie's has transformed into a bar.
