Woody's Sports Grille - Waterboro

A simple restaurant with great food and great service. We really enjoy our meals everytime I go. Definitely priced right.

I've been a regular at this place for years, but lately, the service has really declined. When I sit at the bar, it often takes 30 minutes or more to receive my food order. At this point, I might as well eat at home and just come here for a drink instead.

This restaurant offers tasty bar food, with the nachos, chicken tenders, and mozzarella sticks being particularly enjoyable. The peanut butter dessert is also outstanding. It’s a fun spot to catch a game, though my only complaint is that they close too early. Overall, it’s a fantastic place!

As someone new to the area, I've been exploring the local dining options. I visited this restaurant on a Tuesday evening, and it was quite busy. I had to wait for a seat at the bar and found it difficult to get the bartender's attention. Even after my food was served, I sat there waiting for silverware and a napkin, calling out to the bartender multiple times: "Excuse me. Excuse me. EXCUSE ME!" Eventually, I managed to catch her eye and received my silverware so I could enjoy my fish tacos. The tacos were good, but the salsa could have been fresher (the tomatoes seemed a bit past their prime). I would recommend trying 5 Ponds Public House down the street if it’s open, as this place didn’t leave me with a great impression. It’s unfortunate because I usually tip generously, but I won’t return here unless I have no other options.

I only had drinks, but I noticed many people seemed to be enjoying their meals. The staff was friendly, and the servings were generous!
