Brass City Bistro - Waterbury

Had a fantastic lunch today!!!!!! The broth of the French onion soup is AMAZING!!!! They could go a little easy with those frizzled onions, they are yummy but the broth and perfect cheese blend is where it’s at!! The Cesar salad was HUGE! The dressing was very good and the chicken yummy. Had one of the pieces of coconut shrimp my other half ordered and it was really good as well! Server was very nice and attentive! Second meal I’ve had here and it did not disappoint!

My 9 year old daughter took me to eat for my birthday on March 11 last month in the afternoon, so i chose to eat at Brass city.While ordering the food, in which i had the steak and it comes with a soup. So the issue i had was when I asked about the different options of soup, the waitress mentioned a couple of them, so i decided to get which i believe it was some kind of shrimp soup. So when i got the bill the waitress charged me an extra 5 dollars for it. When i asked her about it she said that there is an up charge for the shrimp soup in which she did not mention before. I wouldn't mind paying for it but the fact that she put it on the bill and didn't tell me it rubbed me the wrong way. I mean who does that? In addition my daughter asked her if they do anything for my birthday, like scoop of ice cream, etc. The waitress said yes we do, and she mentioned the desert menu. We got like a chocolate lava cake, But then again she charged me for it as well. I don't mind paying if there is an up charged or for the dessert but the way she went about was not good. Then when i asked her about the up charge she said that she had told me. So on top of everything she lied.Plus she was not attentive at my table. It was a horrible experience.

Love Brass City Bistro ! The staff is very accommodating and friendly! Food is fabulous! Go enjoy the food and Happy Hour is the best!

Love this local restaurant and sitting at the bar for dinner! The food is delicious, homemade and high quality, with reasonable price tag.
