For a little suburban takeaway, they do pretty fancy fish I guess that's why they call it Fancy Fish.

First visited this place properly around February food was absolutely awesome could not stop raving about it. second visit to this place and the quality of the food had dropped considerably to the point myself and friends would not be returning

This local fish and chip shop is fantastic, great food , great service , friendly staff . This is our favourite place to go if you want great quality food .

Easy to find and see from the road although driveway could do with a entry sign, plenty of parking, clean and tidy shop. Inside and outside there are tables and chairs and bins, in the shop a cold display with fresh oysters and seafood, drinks fridge and counter. Service is good, we had questions and the gentleman cooking the food/owner out the back came to the front and answered them for us. We ordered battered cod, crumbed barramundi, prawn cutlet and chips and dined in. There were 4 other customers in the shop and phone orders for the two staff while we were there and we didn't wait long for our dinner. The food was hot and very generous serves i.e. a long fillet of barramundi and large cod with mountains of chips; I say long fillet of barramundi which is about the same length and thickness as a large piece of cod and without the gut flap.Salted well, chips were crispy and as well as the crumb and battered cod a golden brown colour. Chips are thick cut. No oil residue left on the greaseproof paper.Menu is good and clear.Situated in a shop complex with other necessities and specialty shops a minute from the highway.
