Jalapenos Mexican Restaurante Bar

What an incredible restaurant! The food is consistently excellent, the service is impeccable, and the margaritas are outstanding! We keep coming back. We even had our first date here and we can't wait for more special moments in the future!

I had a terrible experience while trying to enjoy dinner with my fiancé and our friend. The waiter was unfamiliar with the types of meat offered in a specific dish, and he took our salsa and chips away before we even placed our order. His attitude was quite unpleasant. After a long wait for my meal, I requested an additional plate for some of my food, but it came to us dirty. I spoke to the manager about this, and an employee approached us claiming to be the owner. He didn’t address the issues we raised and insisted that the dish was prepared correctly, telling me it had just come out of the dishwasher. He suggested that I was overreacting for wanting a clean plate. Overall, it was an incredibly disappointing experience.

To make matters worse, our waitress mixed up our drink orders. I had requested a Sprite but received a Mountain Dew instead. After that, when it came time to order, I asked for Steak Fajitas, but I was served Chicken Fajitas instead. It seemed like she wasn't paying attention. When the woman at our table requested a soda refill, she ordered a Sprite again, but was shocked to see it on the bill for $6.50, especially since she had already consumed the incorrect drink the waitress made. When the bill arrived, we attempted to use some coupons from a local radio station. The waitress informed us that she couldn’t accept all of them but would check with her manager. When she returned, she said they would honor some of the coupons but not all. Overall, we left feeling frustrated with a waitress who seemed confused and unsure about her responsibilities. I believe the owner or manager would benefit from dining at other Mexican restaurants to see how they can improve and remain competitive. Unfortunately, we won't be returning; next time, we’ll choose another place to eat.

I love the atmosphere here it is like a small villa with a terrace. Waiting times were somewhat longer than normal, but they seemed to have only two or three servers for the entire dinning room. The food was served hot and fresh. We're going back.

First time visiting this restaurant. The decor of this place is beautiful and made it feel very special. Our server was friendly. The place was pretty empty, so we were seated immediately. I ordered the Poncho Lemon Lime chicken, and my husband ordered the shrimp tacos. The portions are decent, and both were delicious. The other staff was not very attentive, nor very friendly, but we liked everything else. I finished my leftover chicken and it was just as delicious! Would visit again.
