Harvest Buffet - Wayland

$28 for the dinner buffet? Why did you raise the price by 40%?!? Foods mediocre at best. Pizza used to be good, now it's bland and usually looking about 5 hours old. If you have ever had good prime rib, you know that this isn't it. I've also tried their steak, and if you like anything under med/well done, don't bother. Whenever I do find something I like there I can count on it not being there the next time I come. Folks behind the counter sloppily plate your food and hand you a mess back. Sure, I may sound a little picky, but for $28, wouldn't you be too?

17$ Lunch Special, had everything the dinner has for half the price. All that went into my mouth was a B at least, many were A's and the Jalapeno Poppers were an A (better than Arby's somehow) I recommend the buffet, I do not recommend you waste your money on slots.

They really turned away from our last visit. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious. I pay less for more than other places. This is really a good choice to eat in the area. Julia is also the best waitress.

I read the reviews before we went to this buffet, and at the time I read it a 3.8 review and many discussions about how the food was not good. Everything I ate was excellent and the service was top notch. I would have given 5 stars, but I didn't like how the buffet was served as you have them fill your dish for you. However, the food and service was 5 stars and very good. Let the reviews stop you from trying this buffet as it is a great value for the price and I would go back.

To be honest The Harvest Buffet is hit or miss, which is unfortunate because it's not a cheap meal. Sometimes when we visit the food is excellent, other times not so much. We had dinner there tonight and the ribs were undercooked, the chicken was dry, and a few other dishes were not up to par in my opinion. But, on the bright side, their desserts are always wonderful. They usually have a good selection and the portions are small so that you can try something and not feel bad about getting more than one or two choices. My favorite is their peach cobbler with ice cream. Unfortunately tonight they didn't have that option and there was no ice cream because I was told their freezer was on the fritz. Bummer, but maybe next time. I also always find the staff to be super friendly and helpful. I'm only rating a 3 because as mentioned, the food can be hit or miss :
