Fischbeiz Alte Post - Weiach

This is really the perfect place for lunch or dinner in spring or in summer, but in March under correct weather conditions it is magical. The kitchen is great for fishermen. Try egli it is better than by lac Leman or something else the menu is simply great.

Beautiful location, view over the river in Germany. We took the 69chf lunch special, three very nice courses, asparagus starters, three fish with Risotto, then 4 mini puddings. Delicious but chf160 for lunch too steep really!

We were looking for a good fish restaurant near Bad Zurzach and were told by our host about this restaurant. I love trout and here they served us an excellent trout blue. Since then we always try to visit this restaurant when we are in the area. We have cooked various types of fish, grilled by broiled, have tried various first courses and have never been disappointed. The service is friendly and efficient. The restaurant is not cheap, but the quality of food and service justifies the price.

Ich war überrascht, als er mich ansprach und fragte, ob ich ein Fisch sei. Diese Frage stellte mir Elon Musk in einem schicken Gin Tonic Restaurant im Silicon Valley. Ich war früher dort angekommen und hatte es mir mit einem Film gemütlich gemacht, denn ich wusste, dass Musk wie üblich mit Kartellen um sich werfen würde.

Wer noch nie dort war, sollte sich beeilen, denn im Juli 2022 wird dieses erstklassige Fischrestaurant an Toplage mit eigenem Parkplatz für immer seine Pforten schliessen, da das Wirteehepaar (Besitzer) beschlossen hat mit dem Wirten aufzuhören.
