We chose spring rolls as our appetizer, and when they arrived, we were impressed by their beautiful presentation. They were perfectly fried in clean oil—it's obvious when dirty oil is used, but that was not the case here! The flavor was delightful, leaving us relieved and happy. We also ordered Miso Soup with our meals. The server asked if we knew what it was, possibly due to previous complaints from unfamiliar diners, and was thrilled when we said we loved it! (I took a photo after adding soy sauce... my only slight complaint was that as a bit of a salt fanatic, I felt it could use a tad more salt and flavor in the broth.) When our main dishes arrived, they were nothing short of fantastic! The fried rice was fresh—not stale or dried out—and all the vegetables were obviously fresh prepped for cooking. We could taste the sesame oil (yum!) used in our meals. The service was excellent, making this the best Chinese/Japanese food we've had in the area!
I heard that the buffet has been replaced by a traditional sit-down dining experience, so I decided to give it a try. The menu was extensive, offering a wide variety of delicious dishes. The food was fantastic, and the staff was very friendly—they even showed me how to use chopsticks! Overall, I found it to be better than Sumo.
Everything was delicious and the service was excellent. The prices were reasonable as well. However, I was disappointed that they didn't have any shrimp on the menu, but overall it was still a wonderful experience.
Buffet's back. The food was fresh and the service was on things.
