Truly Yogurt - Wellesley

This restaurant serves incredibly large portions of delicious food! The small size is enough to feed two people. Definitely order a kids meal or half portion for young children. By far the best value for ice cream in Wellesley.

I have been a fan of this restaurant for years and would give it 5 stars, however, there is now an unfriendly woman who works there (possibly a manager) with brown hair. She appears to be disinterested and just goes through the motions to hurry you out. Every time I visit, which is about once a week, I cringe when I see her. It is so unpleasant to interact with her. Recently, she was talking to the new owner right behind the counter when I was the only customer there. I approached them and said hello, but received no response until they finally looked at me. It was a strange and uncomfortable experience. She seemed to be waiting for me, but remained cold and business-like. The younger staff members, high school and college kids, were very pleasant, but it seems like the management could learn a thing or two from them. The desserts are still delicious, but I noticed that some prices have increased by more than 10% and the portions have shrunk. Despite these issues, I still recommend this place!

The ice cream at this place is very good and I definitely recommend trying it! It is one of my top 5 choices for vanilla soft serve. I was disappointed that they were out of the cookie d lite soft serve, but first-time customers get free sprinkles, which I love. The downside is that the seating area is too small, so customers may have to eat outside or in their car. Unfortunately, there is a strong rancid fish sauce smell outside, likely coming from the Thai restaurant next door. I had to go elsewhere to enjoy my ice cream because the smell was overwhelming. It's a shame because the staff are nice and friendly, but the smell outside is unbearable.

Two of my young went to truly yogurt on Tuesday with my friend. one of the young (7 years old) bought an egg for 3 dollars. he paid with a 10 dollar cat and the cashier gave him only 3 dollar change wrong. I think this is an accident and not intentional. I would like to point out, however, that if they relate to young children, they could give more attention.

This is a local favorite for anyone who lives in Wellesley or surrounding towns. They give large portions, the ice cream is authentic, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality. Kiddie $3.50 and it goes up a dollar from there for each increasing size. If you're someone who doesn't like overly sweet things like me, I wouldn't get the mocha chip or anything with chips or chocolates in them. There isn't much to say about this place cuz it's a very solid place. I highly recommend if you've never been and are passing by the area!
