It may well have *been* a great local but, unlike it states on this site, it's no longer open for business. Having walked there last night in hope of a pint and a pie I discovered it shut up and kegs barring the car park. After getting back to the cottage I googled local news to find that the previous landlords retired a month ago and no replacements yet found.
Great local community pub, shame owners are returing but great warm atmophere. Skitlle alley in the back too.
They are closing and don't seem to care at this stage. Look fwd to the next owners.
