Great little hangout for all ages (kid friendly) with tasty meals, including a Kids Menu. I liked the Seafood Chowder, my husband enjoyed his Cranberry Chickeb pizza and my boy liked the kids' pork ribs option. We'll pop in again on our next trip through. Thanks!

OMG everytime I come here I order the Rio Grande pizza. New ownership now but SO SO SO GLAD to see they have kept the pizza menu. Some advice with the Rio Grande, please cut up the mussels rather than placing them whole on the pizza. It helps with the flavour distribution. Also the spice/seasoning with the seafood is addictive. That's what makes me come back for more. I keep trying to figure out what it is. Nice to see the place humming on a Wednesday night too.

This restaurant is truly a gem in this small town, offering incredible value and delicious flavors. The friendly staff and amusing decor provide a welcome sense of relaxation after a long drive. I also suggest it as an excellent spot for a courier station, convenient for both transportation and travel between Northland and Auckland.
