Írjon visszajelzéstMy experience at Rookies has significantly improved since they no longer allow smoking inside the restaurant. The waitress was fantastic, frequently checking in to see if we needed anything. The decor has a nice sporty vibe. The ladies’ bathroom is quite appealing, featuring a lovely view and a cozy candle burning. I particularly enjoyed the bathroom doors with their large painted symbols distinguishing the men's and women's restrooms—kudos to the fabulous bartender for that touch! My buffalo wrap was delicious, although my mashed potatoes could have used some white gravy and a bit more salt and pepper. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.
The food at this restaurant is consistently good, while the service can be a bit unpredictable; however, it is generally satisfactory. When it gets busy, food tends to arrive promptly, but you might need to catch someone’s attention for refills and bills. If you order an appetizer, it often arrives with the main course. There is a concerning inconsistency with the ingredients in their salads; my wife has ordered the same salad on different occasions and received different toppings each time. Additionally, management seems to have a petty and passive-aggressive approach, evident from the signs they display. For instance, the front door has a welcoming sign that yet complains about customers, and inside, there are numerous notices reminding patrons that it's not a fast food place and that they will need to wait. While it's clear that many places are facing staffing shortages, their attitude appears to reflect a victim mentality. They could opt to pay their employees a living wage to alleviate some of these issues or address any complaints directly; instead, it seems they believe that airing grievances publicly is a clever move. This isn’t an inviting way to greet guests at any establishment.
I've been a long-time customer at Rookies and understand the challenges they face because of government regulations. However, I recently had an unpleasant experience when I ordered food that was, unfortunately, inedible. When I informed my waitress about it, she did bring it to the kitchen's attention, but then she refused to remove it from my bill. That's simply unacceptable. I usually don’t complain or send food back, but that wasn’t even an option in this case. Given this experience, I don’t think I’ll be returning. I've invested a lot of time and money at this restaurant and have even gotten to know some of the staff. I understand that finding help can be difficult, but at the end of the day, customers are the foundation of your business.
Do not tip these people! I ordered to go food. They added an 18% tip to the bill without telling me and then handed me the check asking for a tip. Not thinking they would have the audacity to do that.. .I added a tip. Will not return. The only reason they get two stars is because the wings ARE good. Expensive but good. Honestly if I didn't feel like I got ripped off it would be 5 stars.
This place is pretty good, my friends go all the time. kinda divey but it's good. I ordered the pork tenderloin sandwich since it was highly recommended. It was huge and tasty (pic) I would go back.
