I ordered some broasted chicken. It was very small pieces and overcooked. The service was also slow. I used to really like this restaurant

The one good thing was the coffee was very good. The creamers were not so creamy but chunky. All of them were curdled (we opened about a dozen) which is surprising since they don't need refrigeration. Our potato skins were dripping with grease. We dabbed off the grease with some napkins and shared one. After one bite, we both said they were unedible. My husband's steak sandwich had too much gristle to eat without a fight. He lost the battle with the meat after one bite. I never tried my cheese sandwich because the BREAD WAS MOLDY!! There was also a huge mold spot on my husband's open faced sandwich but was hidden by the burnt homemade chips. Our waitress was very nice was embarrassed when this was brought to her attention. We were the only diners at that time. After waiting a long time for the waitress to return, I stood by the kitchen entrance for her to come in from outside and I handed her my plate said we were leaving. We will never go back there again.

This restaurant is an average little spot that's particularly good for families with young children, thanks to a very friendly waitress who was incredibly sweet. While she spoke a bit quickly, it wasn't a big issue, though she seemed somewhat unfamiliar with the beer selection, which made things a bit confusing. I would recommend steering clear of the appetizers, as they were typical SYSCO offerings, albeit cheaper than at many other places. I opted for a burger, and I must say, it was quite tasty! It wasn't extraordinary, but definitely worth the price—just $4.95 for a half-pound burger! Another member of our group ordered the prime rib and was satisfied as well. Overall, I’d suggest this place for a laid-back evening out with a decent meal. The service was satisfactory, and everyone was friendly. Just a heads up: the restaurant did have a variety of unusual smells as you walked through.

I would recommend checking out the restaurant next door. My experience here was quite uncomfortable. The fish I ordered was undercooked, and my fries were served cold. While they did take my meal off the bill, the waitress made an odd effort to ensure we wouldn't leave without paying. Naturally, we did pay. My husband's fish was just average for him. Overall, I don't plan to return.
