The view of the lake from the restaurant was nice. The staff was friendly, making for a pleasant experience overall.

It's Applebee’s—how great can it really be? Let’s be honest, it’s not exactly a place known for gourmet cooking.

I visited the restaurant on a Saturday night, and the dining room was quite busy. Since it was a lovely evening, we opted to sit outside, though it seemed they weren't fully prepared for outdoor seating. There were a few lingering guests from a wedding earlier in the day. Despite that, the food was excellent. We all chose dishes from the specials menu. The corn and crab bisque was delightful, and the coffee-crusted lamb chops were perfectly cooked, served alongside a lobster risotto that was generously packed with large pieces of lobster. The lobster roll came in a gyro-style pita, featuring substantial chunks of meat lightly dressed. Lastly, the salmon served on a quinoa salad was also cooked to perfection.
