Írjon visszajelzéstI found my new favorite Indonesian restaurant. Their menu is really big, a lot of variety to choose from. Portions are really generous and the most important is their food taste good and authentic.
Delicious. We haven't been disappointed by anything we've ordered. The inside is setup very simply, reminiscent of both a cafeteria and a street vendor. Come for the food.
Best authentic Indonesian food in the IE. I've tried multiple dishes and they have all been so flavorful. Reminds me of food served in Indonesia. The location may be small, but a great hole-in-the-wall spot. Nasi kuning and cendol are my favorite!
Not too much of a Indonesian cuisine expert but I've tried a few different places and I enjoy the food. This place moved out of the food court that was once inside of the nearby HK2 but I never tried it until it was already moved. Anywho, this was my 2nd here and both times the food quality/quantity has been great. Flavors are amazing! Staff do not speak English as a first language so ordering can be a little tricky but enough to get some delicious food inside of you. Parking is hit and miss as far as availability but I'm sure it'll be much harder once the new indoor food market is complete.
WHEN: Saturday 7pm PARKING: located in the Asian West Covina plaza with plenty of parking Indo Bistro serves authentic Indonesian food with some Malaysian specialties. The owner is very nice and had a friendly conversation with us when we mentioned our dad was from Malaysia. It's always nice being able to see these authentic dishes on a menu! What we ordered: 19. Nasi Bungkus Padang $12.50) an indo specialty of rice and various selections of small dishes all contained in a banana leaf wrapper. This dish was really good and for a cheap price 34. Kwe Tiauw Sapi Goreng $10) a stir fried flat noodle dish also famous in the area. Ours was served with beef and was flavorful with big portions. 40. Nasi Ayam Kalasan $12) a fried chicken dish served with rice. The chicken was dry and needed more flavor but I liked the tempeh and tofu it was served with Oxtail Soup off the menu) this was one of the dishes they offered at the front but wasn't permanently on the menu. It was good but pretty expensive for not much meat. Overall, indo bistro is a nice casual restaurant for when your looking for a no fuss Indonesian spot. It serves all the specialties of Indonesia and is a family run business. Try them out if your dabbling into indo food or have never tried any of the cuisine!
