We were taken care of by the owners son who provided wonderful service and spoke highly of his mother's cooking. We started out with the spider tots and camping logs which were delicious. The tots were crispy on the outside and warm and fluffy potato on the inside with a nice doing sauce. The logs were creamy cheese and crab filled with a sweet and sour sauce. For our entrees we had the Rib eye steak which was tender and topped with a green peppercorn sauce, chicken saltimbocca was moist and crusted with prosciutto in a light sauce, the chicken pot pie was a modern version with large chunks of chicken in a creamy gravy with puffed pastry and the bowman salad with spinach and grilled vegetables. All of the dishes were good scratch cooking and the beers were cold and refreshing. We had the honey ale and the brown. You need to save room for the homemade pies...Huckleberry lemon....delicious. best food in the area. Nice place, food was good not great but good. The service was good.
Really good food. Fries are homemade and awesome. French dip was first class. Unfortunately, closer until spring. I'll be there next year.
