Goldbergs Bagel Cafe - West Hartford

I highly recommend Goldberg's. The menu is creative, the food is fresh and good, and the service is good. Stop in once and you will never even think about visiting a fast food restaurant or chain in this neighborhood again.

Very cute little place with big flavor! Fresh hot bagels, cookies and bakery items, with a delightful variety of bagel choices. Happy, cordial staff.

Absolutely outstanding customer service! Went in just as they were closing (felt terrible as I really dislike that myself when I’m closing up at work) the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming and smiling although it was truly time to call a long day “over”. We usually visit on Sat mornings the long line is worth the wait and moves quickly. Going in at the close of a Sat that from experience of knowing how busy they are all day from early morning and knowing tomorrow (A bust Sunday) they were really more appreciative of the business of my last order than complaint which larger companies have an attitude that they’d rather get out than serve anyone. I’m impressed that the same service and style and quality is there in the Elmwood NB Ave location as it has been for years. Even though they’ve expanded with more locations we gladly drive across town. After today’s experience we will continue to feel that way on weekend mornings before running errands. Thank you for your kind smiles with positive attitudes and great bagels we really appreciated this even though you were due to Punch out and call it a day.

What I miss the most since moving to VA beach. Really good food , I will be back, not only for the potato cakes they forgot to put in my too go bag. Oooooops haha
