We were passing and thought this place looked cool, we parked a bit further down the road $2 an hour then discovered there was a car park behind! the burger bar is inside an old train carriage it’s really quirky. we enjoyed a hot dog, veggie burger and fries, delicious.

Loved our meal here, nice historic railway carriage, good service and great food. What more do you want?

Visited LA as part of a trip from the U.K. recently. Keen not to go to the usual chain franchises we found this place a stone throw away from the hotel we were staying in. Turns out that it was one of the best finds of our three week road trip. The place itself is located in an old train in Hollywood and we found the service to be excellent even when fairly busy. We visited twice and each occasion I had the Aberdeeen Angus double cheeseburger cooked medium. Everything was perfect from the toppings through to how the patty was cooked. We shared the train wreck fries which are a very generous portion. I just wish that this place was local to me

We are really loving Carney's. We have been a few times now and it is still hard for us to decide if we love Carney's more than Tommy's. Both have great chili. Carney's has much better hot dogs. Tommy's has better fries. What are we to do--go to both in the same day. And yet the jury in our little heads is still out. Carney's is at a great location, right on the Sunset Strip with a great view of Sunset Blvd. You can eat outdoors, inside or get it to go. I am sure someone delivers, but I don't know who. Parking is free and for Hollywood that is a plus right there. Carney's is located inside an old train car, or a building meant to look like a train, I know little of trains. It is just super cute. You go into the train and order at the counter, wait for your food and eat. It is all super good. We love their chili burgers. They will cook them to order for you. Their chili fries are also great. My grandson loves the chili cheese fries, but they only have American cheese and even for a junk food junkie like me, American cheese is just not cheese. Their hot dogs are juicy and great. Everything is super there and the service is great. Have fun.
