Ive been to Cafe 4 many times over the years and never been dissatisfied and my most recent visit was no exception. It was a typical Friday night, and a full house, but we were immediately seated and served. The appetizers chosen were the Fried Green Tomatoes. 6 healthy slices that were finely breaded and seasoned. The pepper jelly and goat cheese was different and added to flavor quite well. The entree shared was the ample helping of Lobster Mac n cheese. Quite good. The ambience is a bit challenging for intimate conversation because of the sound level for anyone seeking that , but the dining room is suitable for large or small groups. Our server had a couple larger groups in addition to ours, and was a bit busy and distracted but did ok.

Good place for dinner with a group our server was attentive to our party of 12, excellent food choices. Enjoyed my pecan crusted salmon, the grits were kind of bland but the Brussels sprouts were good.

Amazing New Years eve dinner with my love, her sister, and sister's boyfriend. First off the bread they serve is really good. Comes out fresh and can tell it is made in house. I tried the Chicken Waffles. Chicken is flavored well, waffles cooked perfectly, and the mashed potatoes and gravy are a nice touch and match together very well. My fiancee Kelsie tried the special of the night Parmesan Crusted Chicken. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly so definitely a great choice. I tried my future sister in laws fish tacos. The fish was season great and the cole slaw on the tacos were amazing. Service was top notch and love the atmosphere I definitely recommend Cafe 4 to anyone looking for a great meal and top notch service.

We met Hubby's youngest son here for an early supper. The restaurant was not crowded and we were seated promptly. Hubby and son both ordered chicken and waffles, while I ordered the fish tacos. The portions were generous and delicious.

Lively atmosphere in the heart of downtown Knoxville, this swanky bistro excels in southern gourmet cuisine. The truffle fries are a must eat appetizer, great portions for a family of 4 or 5 people. If you are hungry and wanting something healthy, top choice is definitely Tex mex inspired Chicken Tostada Salad. For hearty eaters, order the chicken and japeleno mac-n-cheese. It will surely send you into a dairy induced coma. Service is reliable, atmosphere is good!
