I’ve eaten here several times, and have been delighted every time. Wonderful sweet and savory dishes. A welcoming place for folk who have not been blessed to sample Caribbean food. Millie’s is also a refuge for Boriqueno diaspora folk who need a taste of home, with little touches to remind us of our roots.
Great ribs today. If you have not stopped in, you are missing out. Friendly caring service. And Elmer!!!!
The food was excellent! The shrimp Mofongo was just so good. Great service, the staff was so nice. My family loved everything
Millie's is a tiny place with just a few tables for dine-in service in a small (mostly empty) strip mall off an expressway access road. On this trip we've found the very best offerings in innocuous places. Since we were visiting and didn't know the area well, it was a challenge to find Millie's, but we are glad we did. DH and I took one of the 5 tables to dine in. Delicious aromas grabbed us at the door. We were warmly welcomed and given a rundown of the surprisingly ample offerings. It was a difficult deciding from among the many delicious smells that greeted us at the door. Our meals were served on real plates with reusable flatware. This makes such a difference when dining in and made the experience so homey.I am flummoxed trying to describe Millies; there's so much stuffed into small space. Speaking of stuffed, there was simply no room for dessert. All the while our hosts chatted us up and made us feel like family. We not only dined in, we ordered meals to go so we could make the experience last as long as we could.
