Little Gem of a place... Small village pub with great outside space. Plenty of private parking. Dog friendly pub with a designated room inside if the weather's not the best. It was very quiet when we went, but the staff were lovely and friendly and the food delicious and hot. . They had a Saturday special on when we visited ...I had a burger with all the trimming and a you had a choice of drinks included in the £13.99 charge... Definitely would go back there again.

Popped in by chance on Friday night and asked for a table. We were shown to a table and given menus. Chose starters whitebait and garlic mushrooms, a steak deal for mains and sticky toffee puddings for dessert. The food was lovely. Steaks served raw on a hot stone for us to cook ourselves. Really enjoyed it. I want to shout out to the young waitress and barman who were the only staff on duty apart from the kitchen. They must have been late teens or early twenties but what a delightful pair. Really looked after us. Not often you see such well drilled staff and polite attentive staff. They’re both a credit to their employers. Thanks guys, we can’t wait to come back

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, made with local and seasonal ingredients. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The setting was beautiful, a true hidden gem. I am looking forward to returning in the summer to enjoy the beer garden (and I can even bring my dog along).

The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere, with friendly and attentive staff who serve delicious food. I highly recommend it.
