Taverne Zandberg - Westerlo

The original Sandberg Tavern has been renovated, and my meal there was disappointing. I wanted to order a steak with fries, but the fries were greasy and soggy, and the steak was thin and overcooked. I asked for a medium steak but received a well-done one. I was not satisfied with my meal and will not be returning to eat there again.

The original Tavern Zandberg has been rebranded as Brasserie Stoffels. We decided to dine there, but unfortunately, the dish we wanted to order was not available. We ended up ordering steak with fries, however, the fries were not crispy and the steak was overcooked and very thin. Despite this, we were still charged full price without any explanation. I would not recommend this restaurant to others.

The Sandberg Tavern has recently been under new management. During our visit, we decided to order a steak with fries.
