El Jaripeo Mexican - Westfield

We always get good food here. It is fast and hot with good prices. Sometimes it seems like it might be a bit cleaner, but not to the point that we don't go back.

I 've been trying to find a really good Mexican restaurant in Westfield. I had tried multiple of the more popular ones and happen to hear about El Jaripeo through a mailer. It 's not the easiest to spot and does not have the presentation of some other Mexican restaurants, but that 's ok! It feels like a hole in the wall place, but in a good way. The food is comparable, ifnot cheaper to nearby Mexican restaurants, but the quality is much better. My first bite into the cheese quesadilla had me going This is what a cheese quesadilla should be like . The texture, look, and flavor were all there. I highly recommend you check this place out. Definitely has my vote for the best Mexican restaurant in Westfield.

I visited on December 26, 2012, and ordered the nachos carbon while my girlfriend had combo plate number four. We both ended up with a case of Montezuma's revenge afterward. While the food was tasty and the service excellent, I don't think we'll be returning. It's worth mentioning that we both have strong stomachs and eat at many restaurants, so I'm fairly confident we got some contaminated food.

Our favorite Mexican restaurant in Westfield! The same staff has been here since we first visited two years ago. The food is consistently delicious, and it's usually not too crowded, so we rarely have to wait for a table.

My family enjoys dining at this restaurant. Over the past five years, we've frequented El Jaripeo and have always had a fantastic experience. The authentic food is always delicious and reasonably priced. The service has consistently been excellent. I highly recommend this place!
