The chicken is hard, pitas are gummy, tzatziki is devoid of cucumber, the baklava is a honey flavored brick, etc. If you are looking for something that might be tangentially related to Greek food then you might enjoy this place. If you're fine with waiting half an hour for take out
I always get the steak souvlaki plate with rice pilaf cooked medium rare. Sometimes it's spot on sometimes the steak is still mooing in which case I take my meal home and cook the beef a little longer. I find that it's best to go when the manager is there at least I think she's the manager as she keeps the rest of the staff doing their jobs and on task otherwise when she's gone it's like left hand doesn't know what right hand is doing.
This place is usually amazing with great portions. Tonight I ordered my usual gyro and it was about half the size. I asked why and the girl respond by saying there is a new cook. Wow! DeF not worth the price anymore.
I wish I was leaving a better review. The service was wonderful, a little slower for lunch time, but still great. My feta fries were well cooked and inedible by the time I made it home with my Togo. They were so dry and the cheese was hard. The chicken gyro was full of meat but you could tell the toppings had been sitting on the pita waiting for the chicken to cook. The toppings placement order was way off with this gyro and it definitely made a difference, who knew that was a thing. All of the toppings were under the chicken. To include the feta and tzatziki sitting under all the toppings that are under hot chicken. The lettuce was wilted. It ended up being a mushy, soggy pita from the sauce sitting on the pita for so long. I didn't even finish it. I would try this place one more time and maybe ask they do toppings after meat is placed on pita.
Nice little Mediterranean restaurant which is quite small. It looks more like a take away place but there are a few tables to sit at if you feel like eating in. Service was quick and professional which is awesome. I ordered a Gyro, Greek Salad and Baklava. Although I thought gyro was supposed to be a wrap, this gyro here was more like a pita. Regardless, it was delicious. The Greek salad was good but I feel like there could've been more tomato and cucumber. It seemed it was mostly lettuce. Now, all of this I'm fine with. What I was concerned with was the Baklava. It looks white and it's incredibly crumbly unlike any Baklava I've had before. That's coming from someone who's grandma used to make Baklava from scratch and I want to make sure people are eating the proper thing. What I had here tasted like a Honey Nut Cheerios Cereal Bar.
