Although many of their menus are marked with “C” for celiac safe, I highly recommend not to eat here. so a bummer and ruined the night with the manager who sat me in drinking when she cried to me before others diners that I must be an extreme celiac to test food. very rude and clearly the disease does not understand. our waitress was very friendly and well informed about zöliakie when I ordered, she was even very embarrassed about the reaction of the manager on me.
I had a reaction after eating here, possibly because of cross-contamination. the waitress said that the pommes are gluten-free as the high heat would burn off the gluten! while I don't have the pommes, made me a little sick (I ordered lamb and chocolate cake) and with this level of education of the personal I am not surprised.
I had a negative reaction after having dinner here, possibly due to cross-contamination. The waitress mentioned that the fries were probably gluten-free because the high temperature would eliminate any gluten. However, I didn't have the fries—I ordered lamb and chocolate cake—and something from my meal made me feel unwell. Given the staff's level of knowledge on the subject, I'm not surprised this happened.
I dined here with my family to celebrate my daughter's 13th birthday. I started with the mussels, followed by monkfish, and finished with the most exquisite chocolate cake for dessert. The staff were attentive and well-informed about coeliac disease, and the menu clearly marked dishes suitable for those with dietary restrictions. I would definitely eat here again when I'm back in Westport.
