Basso Restaurant Wine Bar

Owner was very nice. Waitstaff seemed very new but got the job done and was attentive. We had the halibut and the ribeye, we both weren't blown away by either dish but enjoyed them. Drinks were both really good and the setting is cozy but charming. If I went back I'd probably go for a cheaper dish to get more value out of evening.

Everything we tried was excellent. I thought I was reserving a table for brunch but when we arrived no one was there. There wasn't a brunch menu. It did not matter as all the food we chose was very tasty.

Food was great, atmosphere was great, service was subpar. Restaurant looked busy and they could have benefited from another server in our section. Our server seemed overwhelmed. Took a while to get drinks and water refilled and had to flag someone down a couple of times because our server hadn't come by in a while. Service will not deter us from coming back. The paella was worth the trip. We will be back!

It was a quiet week night, but the patio doors were all open, making it a great atmosphere. Our server was incredibly attentive, and the food was excellent. We placed our paella order early, so it came out with all the rest of the food as our waitress advised. A bit pricey, but everything was excellent.
