Carmela's Pasta Shop - Wethersfield

I bought a package of homemade lasagna noodles, and I made lasagna yesterday that was the best I've ever prepared. The noodles were absolutely delicious! The package was generous, providing enough for two more batches, so I froze the leftovers. Carmela is truly exceptional; she hails from Naples, and her food feels like a taste of home. Thank you, Carmela! I live in Massachusetts during the summer, but while visiting friends in Connecticut, I discovered this amazing pasta shop. I wish I could take her home with me! Recently, I also tried the meat lasagna and the vodka lobster ravioli, both of which were outstanding. The marinara sauce that accompanies the lasagna is excellent and pairs wonderfully with the fresh bread that comes with every meal. I can already tell I’ll be returning multiple times; it’s hard to find truly authentic lasagna, but this place has nailed it, making the drive well worth it. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I recently ordered takeout for lunch and had a great experience overall. The food was excellent, earning a solid 4 out of 5. The service was outstanding, so I would rate it a perfect 5. The atmosphere of the restaurant also contributed positively, rating a 4. With prices ranging from $10 to $20 per person, it was a great value for a satisfying meal.
