Beautifully made food especially the fish we got fish multiple times over our away it was consistent in the way it was cooked. Will definitely be back.

Specialty for my family are the fresh fish and mussels and/or oysters with crispy golden batter. Battered potato fritters are also a delicious treat with fresh chips enjoyed by littlies as well.

Never fails to disappoint. We always stop at Whau Valley for fish and chips when heading north from Auckland. Weve tried other places but not nearly as good. Snapper always fresh with crispy batter. Chips fantastic too. Clean and staff always very friendly. I phone ahead and it's always ready on time. Thanks. See you next time!

We ordered the breaded Snapper and Dory with chips. It was my first time trying Dory, and I found it well-cooked and moist. The prices for the fish seemed a bit steep, but they were incredibly tasty. The chips were cooked perfectly and crispy, just the way I like them. There may have been a tad too much salt on the food, but I would definitely return! I highly recommend trying the breaded options.
