Macdara's Grille - Wheaton

Eating was good, no complaints. Service was...odd. I suppose our server was new asking if he could take our plates before we eat. Then another server (manager? visited us. Then the owner came by to make sure we were good. Many attention that made us feel like they wanted us to go, although there were only two other people in there. I will try it just because I want it to succeed, but I hope for better service.

Mac and the rest of the staff are the best of the people around. They go above and beyond to provide the best service you can have and make sure each customer is attended to and having a great time. The food is spectacular and the atmosphere is warm and inviting.

We've discovered our new favorite spot for brunch! Macdera is a welcoming place with friendly staff and exceptional service. The servers make an effort to connect with each customer, creating a warm atmosphere. Bethany, one of the servers, was especially delightful and attentive, remembering our names and backgrounds. It's a perfect venue for families, friends, or even a romantic night out. I will definitely be returning!

I absolutely love this restaurant and can't wait to return! I started with the ham slider appetizer, which was delicious. For my main course, I had the filet mignon accompanied by a side of macaroni and cheese—both were phenomenal! The filet was cooked to perfection, and the mac and cheese ranks in my top three favorites. My only minor critique is that our waitress seemed a bit distant and didn’t smile much, but that didn’t detract from the overall experience. Overall, it's a fantastic place that I highly recommend!
