I don't understand the negative reviews. First of all if your expectations are your going to get the best steak anywhere for under 20 bucks then your just plain unreasonable. I have been there many times with friends and we all agree that for the money you can't go wrong. I mean you can actually get a tbone a rib steak or a new York cut for under 20 bucks. No there is no candles at the table no there is no there is no sizzle on the steak when it gets to you. This is a no frills establishment and they do not profess to be anything but. So lower your expectations to the price your paying which is unbelievably low if you can do that then your a reasonable person if you can't then go pay 50 dollars elsewhere for what you would pay 15 dollars for at this restaurant and get all the frills that you expect. I like my steaks and I will continue to be a customer because I appreciate value and there is no other place in this area that offers this kind of bang for your buck. What I also find interesting is that teddys is the highest rated restaurant in Oshawa talk about no frills at least this place is giving you cheap steaks not cheap liver and onions. Which if your paying more than 10 bucks your getting ripped off.

Service was GREAT when first opened. Turn staff way too fast...what does that tell you! Staff are always new...Poor manager has a STUPID office beside the bar...the size of a coffin!! (Stress enough for a manager!!)Great burgers! GREAT BURGERS! Love those $5 burgers WITH fries!! And lettuce, tomatoes, onion & pickle!!! $10 steak & fries! Good steak grilled right...good "char" flavour Steak is great for the price!! And that "char" is perfect! $5 Draft!!AWSOME! Great deal!

I had the fish & chips - no grease - done perfect - big piece of fish ..... my wife had the bacon cheese burger with a salad (that had everything in it) .... she had a 9 oz wine and I had a double rum & coke .... no room for desert !! Without the coupon it would have been $39.50 ... with a $10.00 coupon it came to $28.00 WOW !! Will be going back again .. 16oz Rib Eye $19.99 with all the trimmings !

I was there tonight with a group of ladies. The service was excellent and the food very good and filling! Will definitely come back!

I went to the Whitby location with my brother for a late dinner. It was about 9:30pm on a Friday. The place was not busy at all, 4 tables and 5 seats at the bar were occupied. We sat ourselves in the bar area and waited about 15min before being asked if we wanted any drinks. The waitress saw us come in but was to busy talking at the bar with what looked like her friends. The drinks came right away but we asked her for a minute to figure out what we wanted to eat. After about 20ins I had to get the manager to call our waitress over, again the bar friends were more important. I ordered the club house sandwich and my brother ordered the wing and rib combo. The sandwich was okay and my brother had no issues with the wings and ribs. The waitress never came back to us after she delivered the meals. Once we finished I had enough, I asked the manager again to have our waitress come over and bring the bill. She came over empty handed and removed our plates, I asked her to bring the bill back as soon as possible I wanted out of this place. She went back behind the bar and sat down talking to her friends. I guess that summed up my experience in this garage restaurant. I went up to the bar and said "where is my bill?" her response was " Oh yeah, I forgot!" . I am telling you right now, DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT. I did not read the reviews on this place but now I understand why there are so many bad reviews.
