Mancini's Veal Sandwiches & Panzerotti

This was a first time visit and it definitely won't be my last. Premises are cheerful and spotless, hospital clean. Service is excellent and the young, manageress so charming and helpful--the kind of staff you want representing your business on the frontline. I promised to write a review when I left I was so delighted to eat here. The veal sandwich arrived piping hot, fresh and stupendous in size....4 or more layers of fork-tender veal coated in a light breaded batter that was crispy, not heavy nor greasy. You could easily split the order with another. The menu is extensive, so lots to choose from. The desserts looked good too. I will definitely use this as my "go-to" place from now on and wish I had tried it sooner. It is conveniently located on Brock St. at Mary, just a bit north of the 4 Corners in downtown Whitby and there is ample free parking too.

Received a flyer in the mail so I went to Mancini's to try out their veal sandwich.It was great!My server was very friendly and informative.The restaurant seating is very spacious and clean. The washrooms were very clean as well.Will definitely be returning with friends.

This was our first time at this place. We have had veal sandwiches before so this was what we ordered. The order is very massive! I usually eat my owl meal but ended up taking half of my sandwich home. Great meal and the prices were good, as well.

I come here 2 times a week and I am never disappointed. Good vibes from the staff, great food and great atmosphere.

I was told about this place many many times in the past from people living in Durham and I happened to be in Whitby so long story short - the veal sandwich is right up there with the best I have ever had. The jalapeno spread is so good on it. I wish they had a few more toppings (like rapini) but, with cheese, mushrooms or peppers and jalapeno spread it is a 10/10. Now my girlfriend and I buy one and split it because it is so big and it is such a big treat to go there.
