McDonald's - Whitby

Have been going to this location for years and years and it is very nice the updates inside. Very clean looking and modern but still a family feel. I like this location but it is always soooo noisy.

This is often my "go to" Mickey Dee's in the morning and one of the things that I like is that there are staff who have been there for a long time -- more than 10 years -- so service is usually very good and very friendly.The experience on my last visit-- noonish -- was an exception and it appeared that a staff member -- probably new -- wasn't quite up to the standard that I have come to expect there. Overall though, this is one of the better McDonalds that I have found......and I have tried many!

I always have to remind everyone how great Mcdonalds is when it is "free coffee: time. It is now. Easily getting 2 free ones for my wife and I and very fast through their double drive through. Yes It sucks getting to their drive through in that awkward parking lot but what the heck! Its free!! and it good. This is a nicely revised modern Mickys.

Drive through is faster then staying in but I've had my takeout order wrong on 3 occasions so I now check before I drive away. Slow service when stayed in. Like that the kids area is separate if you choose. I will go back for the convenience.

I just want to say, since we all shuld be familiar with McDonald's Restaurants, that the computerized screen to order your meal is brilliant. It is easy to follow and very convient to use. For a small nominal fee they will even deliver it to your table via electronic table finders.....which I am sure is not their technical name (lol). You follow the directions on the screen, place your order, and then pay by cash, debit, or credit card. The receipt will display an easy to read, large "order" number and the screen above the counter will show youe number......if you opt out of the table service. The only negative is that the space provided for those to wait for their number to be called is rather resticted and does not take long to get congested when the restaurant gets busy.....but all in all a great way to order your food exactly as you would want it.
